Making "the Hut" a vernacular term seems like a sound enough directive, but the visual executions are cold and sterile. (It all feels a little much like it's from the "school of Peter Arnell" for me.)
For their sake, I certainly hope this is just an experiment. The Pizza Hut brand is in itself quite memorable. Their food has suffered from being greasy, but that's a problem that can be addressed directly. I'd hate to see them squander their existing brand capital by making a rash move like this.
